Hotel Montestella - Salerno

We enjoyed the spacious room with a lovely balcony view. Breakfast options were limited on some days.

My double room was functional with comfortable beds. They offered me pastries, fruit and eggs in the morning. The location was central, great for a main street and a cathedral located walking distance to the hotel. The breakfast was savoury and plentiful, the check in was quick. The staff was really helpful and efficient, they blew my mind...

We received amazing service from the good staff. The rooms were clean and had an electric kettle and a refrigerator.

I loved the family-like atmosphere among the staff, who treated each guest as if they were part of their own family. The breakfast array was really good, with a generous selection of options, including tailored coffee orders. The balcony in my room offered fine views of the local shopping district, allowing me to soak in the vibrant atmosphere right from my own space.

Great setting in the shopping area, very close to the center of the town and restaurants, railway station, and the marina for ferries to major attractions and Naples as a gateway to the Amalfi Coast...

Spacious room, amazing location.

The location is fantastic, right on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, restaurants, and the ferry terminal within a quick walk. The breakfast spread was decent, with a mix of sweet and savory options, and the rooms were modern with comfortable amenities like minibars and LED TVs.

Clean rooms with effective air conditioning and a comfortable double bed.

The toilet in my room struggled with flushing, which took too long to sort out. The room's size varied dramatically between stays, leading to some confusion, with one room being cramped and another much more spacious. The decor felt minimalistic, lacking warmth and character. Basic amenities were sparse, including just two tiny soap bars and no safe or tissues.

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a great selection for breakfast including fresh pastries and excellent coffee for that perfect Italian start to the day, as it is just a 10-minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes to the coast.

I had a lovely stay here! The breakfast was fantastic with delicious options, particularly the lemon cake, and the room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony view. However, the shower could use a handle for better comfort. Definitely would return!

The hotel offered a fantastic location just on the main pedestrian street. We found it to be a short walk to both the ferry terminal and the railway station, convenient given our travel plans. Our room was modern and spacious, with a super comfortable bed and good air conditioning.

The shower was narrow and the towels were disappointingly thin, which detracted from the comfort of the stay.
